Christmas

Christmas is always amazing. Christmas gives me the feeling of safety. The lights, the food, the drinks, the smell of oranges and pine trees, the presents, they all remind me of my childhood. Thou I'm pretty sure, I'll never feel that excitement I used to when I was little, I really hope that when I will have kids, I'll be able to arrange things in a way that gives them similar feelings. Yesterday I was on MSN talking to one of my good friends, and he shared my opinion on the subject. We agreed, that we don't feel, that Christmas spirit anymore. I told him, that I really hope, parenthood will bring it back and he made me think about things. He said, decorating the tree in silence and hiding it along with the christmas pressies, will be real fun (with the love of my life- personal extension). He turned my view from pessimistic, to childishly naive and optimistic. Thanks a lot for that dude!

Also, today (since my family got on my nerves in every 5 minutes and made me want to cry the whole day) I decided to watch my new favourite show again. I meet Glee through one of my youtube subscriptions, a girl who is obsessed with beauty tutoring. And I've been obsessed with her for a while, I subscribed to her channel, watch her videos minutes after she uploaded them and last but not least I followed her on Twitter. I've read it in her tweets, that every week, she watched glee. An hour later, she posted that it was amazing and she fell in love with the show. I was just looking for a new series to watch so I said why not! Let'S give it a shot.
Since then, I'm addicted to the show. Well, no, not to the show (cause it's cheesy and gay and all american-highschool-like in general) but to the music they make in the show. They are basically doing covers of really famous songs from the history of music (Queen's Somebody to love, Rihanna's Take a bow, Sound of music, Wicked, etc), they give a little new to every song, they just make it sound a lot better than the original ones. Or maybe just for me. But for example the cover of Wicked's Defying Gravity is just so much more enjoyable than the original stage version.
Maybe it's because of the magical power of Lea Michelle's voice (Glee cast- Rachel)

here'S a link for the original song performed at the Tony awards and the one that Glee covered:

I can't fall asleep

The Wedding Planner was so awesome! I love that movie! I'm full of energy right now, thou it's almost 12pm and I should be in bed by now. I can't fall asleep, I have so much on my mind. I can't wait for New Years eve, I'm really really curious how will the next days go, regarding that I don't have the best relationships within my family right now, and also, I'm excited if my beloved ppl will love my presents or not.

I'm always very very excited the days before Christmas Eve. I just love watching people's reaction to my presents, I love to see if they are completely amazed by my surprise, or they just pretend to be. I'm really great at choosing between these two options. Thank God, mostly, I can find real, meaningful, and personalized presents, that can really amaze my relatives. I know it's not that easy with me on the other hand. I'm really picky, so it's almost impossible to buy me clothes, makeup or books, without asking me for my opinion. I love surprises, but I have a really good ability to kill suprises in a minute! Haha!

So... i was thinking, what should this blog entry include, and I decided, that I'm going to show off my Christmas presents. I don't worry about my relatives seeing it, cause they have no idea, that I have a blog!

So here's my list:
  • For Mommy:I bought her a book from Hrabal, the famous Checz writer. My friend Brigi suggested me buying this book, cause she've read it, and she said she loved it. I hope it is good, cause when I opened it, I saw, there are no conversations in it, it almost seemed like one long long senctence, or a long monologue. I guess, this is because Hrabal wrote this book in only 12 days. I was amazed by that fact! lol
  • For Daddy: well, kind of a shame, but he ordered a book for himself in my name. Then wrapped it himself. I told him jokingly, that I will open it for him instead, so at least I do one part of the whole process.
  • For my Brother: A book from Darren Shan. Has a disgusting cover. It's about demons. No more words needed.
  • For Granny, Auntie, Uncle, and Cousin: Orange liquer made by myself.
  • For my Nephew: A book of István Csukás. Really funny. Stroy for kids in his age.
I think that's it. This blog entry is hella long. I'm gonna wrap it up for today! Good night everybody!

The day before Christmas

It's been a long week, or even two since I uploaded my blog. To be honest I was lazy to share stuff.
But here I am now, ready to talk about my day before Christmas. So in the morning I woke up and I really wanted to eat pizza. Since my mom never allowed us to order pizzas, I'd learnt to bake pizzas! Actually its a lot of fun to bake pizzas! WEll I made a pepperoni, and ham pizza. It was real simple.

Then I went out with my brother for Chrsitmas shopping. He is a late shopper, I like doing my shoppings pretty early. So i was just escorting him so he wont feel lonely haha.

After we got home, I helped my dad installing our fake Christmas tree (Save the trees! Yay!), and it broke two times. It's almost 10 years old I think and it was hella expensive back then! Then my mom told me to clean my room, cause not even the dirties gypsy has that kind of mess in their houses. I was really upset, cause right right, I had left some clothes on the floor, but other than that, everything was clean and in order. Whatever. She loves bugging me with cleaning and tidyness. (Is that a word?)

Then I was bored, and nothing likeable was on tv, so I curled my hair with my hair straightener. Actually it turned out to be pretty awesome. I was impressed by mysefl that I could manage my thick, long naturally straight her to curl into nice little "Victoria's secret Angel- like" waves (haha, I wish!!)

Here's a picture of me before and after the process:

Now I have to run! The wedding planner is on tv! My all time favourite movie! That is why I decided to become a wedding planner when I grow up!

Orange Liqeur Step 1

Yesterday I deciced that I'm going to make a special orange liqeur for my family as a Christmas gift. The recipe is real simple, I only needed 5-6 oranges, a whole Cinnamon, 1 vanilla bean, and 1 liter clear and good quality vodka, 60 dkg sugar and some water. First I peeled the oranges, and removed the white parts from the inside (if that doesn't happen, your final product is going to be bittersweet. Not good at all.). So I peeled all 5 oranges carefully, and placed the chunks in a bottle, that can hold up to 2 liters of liquid, and has a precisely closing top. Then I added the cinammon, the vanilla and the vodka, put the top on, secured it, then shook the whole bottle. I hid it carefully, so it is going to be a real surprise on the 24th or 25th.
I'll try to upload some pictures later on, to show you the process, and after the one "waiting" week is over, I'll blog about the next steps.

This is my very first, very own blog!!

Today I went to see a the annual show of the ballet company of Győr (my city). To be honest, I didn't know what to expect exactly.
It's my fifth year as an owner of a seson-ticket at the National Theatre of Győr, and each year, the ticket consists a ballet, an opera, a musical, and some tragic and some comedy plays. In the past few years, I've tended to fall asleep during all of the ballet and opera shows. Somehow, they never interested me enought, to keep my eyes open, and on stage. That's why I didn't know what to expect tonight.
Well, the first half of the dance show was boring (as usual), I felt horrified, that I'll have to sit there for one more hour. Rude or not, I fall asleep on the shoulder of my dad, like a little baby. I woke up just 2 minutes before the end of the first half. After a very refreshing break, I went back to my seat with fear in me. But SUPRISE!! The curtains opened up and a well-known song started. It was my all time F-A-V-O-U-R-I-T-E Rolling Stones track. I got really excited!! You can imagine how excited. I started dancing in my chair, tapping with my hands and feet and lipsyncing the lyrics. Then they all started dancing, and I was really enjoying it! Gosh, I've never seen a rock music based ballet! So creative! So energetic! Not boring at all!
Here's some pictures from the ballet!
